THB was contracted to install new asphalt surfacing using part hand-lay and part machine-lay methods on the M2 motorway.
THB can offer a variety of surface preparation solutions, suitable for most highways, such as fine milling. We can offer 80 to 2,200mm planing widths covering most requirements from major highways to narrow spaces such as trenchworks and pavements. This allows us to remove existing High Friction and Asphalt surfacing in preparation for re-application.
Our Skid Steer Planer can also be adapted to fit a bucket and brush making it ideal for smaller work such as thermoplastic and rib line removal. Coupled with our Hydroblasting and Road sweepers units we can offer a complete surface preparation solution.
