A less disruptive route to drainage repair
Traditional pipe replacement can involve excavation, traffic disruption and significant reinstatement. Trenchless lining methods allow suitable drains, sewers and conduits to be repaired internally, often using existing access points such as manholes.
UV lining and pipe relining services include
- UV-cured pipe relining.
- Cured-In-Place Pipe (CIPP) lining.
- Trenchless rehabilitation of drains and sewers.
- Localised patch lining and point repairs.
- Full-length lateral and mainline lining.
- Structural repair of cracked or defective pipes.
- Root ingress and infiltration sealing.
- Pre- and post-works CCTV surveying.
- Temporary dams to control flows during relining works.
CIPP and UV lining explained
CIPP lining involves inserting a resin-impregnated liner into the existing pipe and curing it to create a new structural lining inside the damaged asset. Depending on the pipe, access and programme, curing methods may include UV, ambient cure or hot cure approaches.
When UV lining may be suitable
- Cracked or defective drainage pipes.
- Root ingress or infiltration issues.
- Localised pipe defects requiring patch repair.
- Pipes beneath roads, car parks or hardstanding where excavation would be disruptive.
- Commercial, highway and infrastructure drainage assets requiring planned rehabilitation.
Our lining process
1. Inspect: CCTV surveying helps confirm pipe condition, defect location and lining suitability.
2. Prepare: the pipe is cleaned and temporary flow control is planned where required.
3. Install: the liner is positioned within the existing pipe.
4. Cure: the liner is cured using the agreed method to create the repaired internal surface.
5. Verify: post-works inspection confirms the repair and supports handover documentation.

FAQ's
UV drain lining is a trenchless repair method where a resin liner is installed inside an existing pipe and cured using UV light to form a new internal lining.
In suitable situations, yes. It can avoid digging up the full pipe run and may reduce traffic, access and reinstatement disruption.
CCTV surveying is recommended before lining to confirm the defect, pipe condition and whether lining is suitable.
CIPP can repair many cracked or defective pipes, but suitability depends on the pipe condition, shape, access and severity of the defect.
